BMA - BCCI's direct member for 3rd consecutive year

BMA is a direct member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 3rd consecutive year.

Ïn January we received BMA's Certificate of Membership for 2018.

Working group is assigned to the Advisory Committee on water transport

By Order № РД-08-44 of January 28, 2011 the Minister of Transport, information technology and communications  assigned a new Working Group with the task: within 31 March 2011 to undertake comparative analysis of advantages and weaknesses of the Bulgarian ports and foreign ports in order to assess their competitiveness.

After decision of the governing body of the BMA, the Association is represented in the working group by the member of the Steering Committee capt. George Dereliev.

National forum on maritime and river industry - 04 november 2010, Varna

A national forum titled "Maritime and river industry - one of the major national economic priorities of Bulgaria" was held on November 4, 2010 in Varna. Initiators were: Bulgarian Shipmasters' Association, Morski sadbi Foundation and Club of marine engineers. The Forum was supported by many NGOs from Varna, Bourgas, Rousse, Sofia and the academic community. Their representatives (including BMA) were included in the Organising Committee.
